This is an actual, one-of-a-kind drawing cut from my actual sketchbook! In early 2011, I rediscovered my passion for art and decided to draw every single day! I ended up making a lot of sketches in a bound sketchbook and this freehand marker and pencil drawing of Storm Shadow and a Cobra Eel from G.I. Joe is one of them! It is dated on the back.
While trying to get into drawing again, I wanted to push myself and try to do more comic book-style drawings. I went to my G.I. Joe comics from the 1990's and used them as references for a series of sketches - just for practice and for fun. I thought I'd share them now with anyone interested (instead of them just sitting in a sketchbook somewhere.)
***I had written one of the dates I worked on it on the front in marker, unfortunately...***
PLEASE NOTE.....
- This is an actual drawing
- It was cut out of my sketchbook with a razor blade
- I drew this in PENCIL first before going over it with markers. You will see pencil marks in the marker and on the page. I tried to erase as much as I could before posting them in my store, but you're still likely to find some on the drawing. I also went through a phase of writing the date on the FRONT of the page. I tried to erase that (when possible) for you.
- There are imperfections in this piece of art! Some smudges, crinkles in the paper, and even a rough edge from it being cut out of the book are likely to be on this drawing!
- The size is ROUGHLY 8.5 x 11 since it was cut from a sketchbook!
- You are buying the ORIGINAL, actual drawing here! Prints may still be sold in my shop, but you will have the original!
